Installation steps:

1. update the system to the latest version (for example Mojave or later) before replacing the NVMe M.2 SSD.

2. Install M.2 NGFF SSD.

2. Open the shell  of Late 2014 version Mac mini,then connect the adapter to this  slot

3. Please check the interface! the SSD can not be recognized if the adapter is not installed in place.
