Threshold textbook is the first volume of the advanced Chinese series of textbooks " Road to Success". It is an introductory textbook written by Chinese learners with zero starting point. Through the study of this book, learners can lay a good foundation in Chinese Mandarin and the basics of Chinese characters, and master some of the most basic everyday communication terms.

There are 8 lessons in the book. Each lesson consists of five parts: “Follow me”, “(Good) Pinyin”, “Voice Note”, “Exercise” and “Chinese Character”. Among them, the exercises are comprehensively consolidating the speeches learned in the course from the four aspects of “listening, speaking, reading and writing”, but the focus of learning should be on the training of “listening, speaking and reading”. In the Chinese character section, there are 50 basic Chinese characters with strong literacy skills. Learning these 50 words can lay a good foundation for the learners to learn Chinese characters in the next step.

Lower Elementary textbook is the elementary Chinese textbook after the advanced Chinese language series textbook " Road to Success " relay Getting Started. Beginning with this book, learners will take the first step in learning Chinese grammar.

The book has two volumes, seven units and 28 lessons. The first volume consists of 3 units, the second volume consists of 4 units, and each unit has 4 lessons. After completing these two volumes, learners can speak more than 600 Chinese words and write more than 400 Chinese characters.

Each volume comes with a listening text and a practice leaflet, a one-page exercise, which can be used as an after-school assignment. There are also 7 sets of unit review questions in the practice leaflet to help learners focus on review.

A CD 1 disc is included with the book, with texts, new words and some listening exercises.
